Making The Most Out of Your Raise

December 5, 2018

Two days ago I shared about my terrible money management on my Stories. Whatever I confessed was true. I got laid off in December last year, left with no severance package whatsoever, only that month's worth of salary. Zero savings. Piled up credit card debts. Couldn't find a suitable job until end of February this year. I was a mess.

But when you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up, so I decided to pick myself up in March and started working on becoming an influencer when my followers were only around 3k, and that's how I managed to pay off all my debts from March to July. Lesson learned the hard way.

But I'm not ashamed to tell my story because it made me who I am today. I'm more hardworking, more grateful, and definitely wiser in managing my personal finances. And I'm sharing this so you can learn from my mistakes. Now you know if I can do it, so can you. There's really no limits to what you can do, as long as you're willing to put your time, energy, and effort into whatever you do.
